TOTALLY EXCITING DAY TODAY: the legendary Diane Von Furstenberg came out to my store, got all cozy & chatty & talked about her personal story, the creative process that led to the wrap dress, moving to Manhattan in the 70’s ‘for a boy’, finding constant inspiration in women & the launch of her new fragrance, Diane. She was completely enchanting. I am inspired.

I set up shop at the Artache Sunday Market last weekend & sold some of my most fantastic pieces; met some really great local artists, jewelry-makers, record junkies & fashion design school students; drank a few Rainiers out of the can; loved every minute of it. I’m going to do it again November 13th.

Ok, so I’m in Los Angeles this weekend, its 80something degrees & gorgeous out, my cousin got married on a cliff above the ocean yesterday & today everything is calm & easygoing. The universe is whispering Go explore! The world is your oyster!
So I’m headed to Fairfax & Melrose in West Hollywood, the nucleus of the Fairfax Flea Market, one of the west coast’s biggest & baddest sources of vintage EVERYTHING! And I’m going to stock up my closet with sunny Bohemian treasures. Stay tuned. xo
